The Flaming Mojo Story

ACTOR, IMPROVISER, DIRECTOR, WRITER & PROFESSIONAL MISCHIEF MAKER

Hi there, I’m Emma Bowyer, founder and creative force behind Flaming Mojo.

I’ve been acting, improvising, directing, writing and generally making things up for the last (eek!) 30 years — and Flaming Mojo is where I get to bring all of that together.

Having trained and worked as a professional actor, I’ve always loved creating characters, telling stories and, most importantly, making people laugh. There’s nothing quite like a room full of people getting swept up in a story and becoming part of the fun themselves.

And Flaming Mojo definitely isn’t a one-woman show!

I work with a brilliant team of professional actors and performers who help bring our events to life. From suspicious suspects and larger-than-life characters to quick-thinking improvisers who never quite know what an audience is going to throw at them, our performers know how to keep things moving, keep people involved and keep the laughs coming.

We create interactive murder mysteries, comedy experiences and live entertainment for private parties, corporate events, celebrations, venues and public shows. Some are wonderfully silly, some are delightfully suspicious and some descend into glorious chaos — usually exactly as intended!

What I love most is that no two events are ever quite the same. The audience becomes part of the experience, our actors think on their feet, and you never know exactly what’s going to happen next.

That’s where the magic is.

So whether we’re bringing Flaming Mojo to your event or you’re coming along to one of our shows, you can expect great characters, plenty of laughs, a bit of mischief and a whole lot of fun.

And coffee. There’s usually coffee.

Welcome to Flaming Mojo. Let the fun begin!
